VACANCY: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (POULTRY & LIVESTOCK EQUIPMENT)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in planning of Farm establishment & expansion projects for prospective clients
Development of proposals to clients detailing technical and commercial requirements for project planning and equipment purchase
Coordination of diverse internal and external stakeholders involved in successful delivery of projects
Management of equipment inventory and setting re-order thresholds for relevant goods
Ensuring prompt and proper installation of cages and other poultry equipment prior to commissioning
Ensure proper education, training and handover of equipment post installation with relevant documentation
Ensuring proper record keeping and inventory control of Equipment upon arrival from and during transfer between branches and customers
Professional management of existing and future customer relations
Ensuring proper storage, handling and maintenance of installation equipment and tools and accessories
Development of technical strategies coupled with a sales and marketing plan for improvement of Animal Care equipment penetration and performance in Nigeria
Periodic training and appraisal of installation team members for best outcomes
Enforcing company’s code of conduct
What Skills Must You Have?
Proficiency with Microsoft office application
Good written and oral communication skills
Ability to influence and lead a team in order to understand and execute management objective
Basic understanding of building and construction (must be a fast learner)
Minimum of 7 years post-graduation work experience
Ability to speak in public
Good interpersonal skills
Basic project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
Bachelor’s degree BSc. Or equivalent (additional advanced degrees are welcome)
Must be able to drive (with a valid driver’s license)

VACANCY: HEAD, ANIMAL CARE DISEASE DIAGNOSIS & FEED ANALYSIS LABORATORIES

Job responsibilities:
Setting best practice and uniform standards for disease diagnosis and feed analysis across all laboratories
Induction, supervision and continuous training of veterinary diagnosticians, feed analysts and microbiologists across all branches
Establishment of good laboratory practice techniques across all laboratories
Ensure professional and prompt service delivery at all times
Periodically make recommendations for upgrade or replacement of diagnostic tools and equipment
Ensure a laboratory operates smoothly by scheduling staff, reordering supplies, and maintaining all biosecurity protocols and standards.
Take responsibility for all aspects at the lab, which includes tracking and monitoring consumables, equipment maintenance, watching out for employee safety, biosecurity and environment sanitation, proper record keeping and analytical tracking of data
Provide performance feedback and guidance to team members and identify training needs where necessary
Expand the lab’s research portfolio by helping to develop new research projects and proposals with poultry health and economic impact
Coordination of the company’s livestock training and extension services which include internal and external trainings, external servicing of retainer clients and inclusive farmer engagement programs
Strategic promotion of company’s image and products to general more revenue through professional services and responsible referrals
Periodic visitation of all laboratory service facilities for welfare checks and standards enforcement
Key competencies:
A veterinary Doctor (DVM) with robust field diagnostic skill
Good managerial skills.
Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Expert knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
Coping with long hours of field and laboratory work
Adequate understanding of managing human, financial and material resources.
Proficiency with Microsoft office application
Comfortable with public speaking
Job requirement:
Candidate must possess first degree in veterinary Medicine (DVM).
Additional Qualification will be an added advantage
Must not be older than (45) forty-five years
Minimum of fifteen (10) years post NYSC experience in poultry and other food animal disease diagnostics and control.
